Shrimp & Andouille Skewers

Spicy shrimp and sausage awesomeness. Make this as the warm up for your grill party and you’ll be a hero.

Serves n – scale as needed. You could make some mayo-garlicy business as a dip to take this to the next level.

Mise en Place
2 tbs canola oil 1.5 lbs large shrimp, peeled, deveined
kosher salt 3-4 links andouille sausage
1 tsp paprika

skewers, soaked
1 grill, hot
1 pastry brush

Step Action
1 grill sausage 8-10 minutes
2 meanwhile, season shrimp with salt
3 whisk paprika with canola oil and brush mixture onto shrimp
4 evac sausage from grill
5 slice sausage into shrimp thick pieces
6 thread 1 shrimp onto a skewer through the top, then sausage, repeat till all shrimp are used
7 grill skewers ~2 minutes per side
8 serve hot
