Guacamole is a concert of fat (avocado), acid (lime), and salt (kosher). Get those three things in balance, and you have perfection. Don’t and gloppy green goop.
Overall, keep it simple. You could add plenty of other stuff, but why?
|Mise en Place|
|3 cloves||garlic, minced||1||jalepeno, seeded and minced|
|1/4 cup||diced tomato||1/4 cup||diced onion|
|2 tbs||minced cilantro||1-2 tsp||kosher salt|
|1||In a large bowl, put in half the lime juice and 1 tsp of salt|
|2||Remove flesh from avocados and put in bowl (use good technique please, see link below)|
|3||Use a potato masher to mash avocado into lime, leave some chunks|
|4||Taste, add lime juice and salt as appropriate. If it tastes too fatty or to salty, add lime. If it tastes to limey add a little salt.|
|5||Fold in everything else.|
Looks yummy. Per Google web search: “Did you mean cilantro?”
Yep! Will fix! Thanks for the catch
