Pan Roasted Broccoli and Radishes

Time to unboring your broccoli.

Inspired by that random stuff that needed to be used in the crisper:  radishes from some salad, broccoli from some vague thought of eating healthy.   So what to do? combine them into a side! Result? Success!

Mise en Place
Veggies Staples
1 head broccoli florets 1 tbs olive oil
1 bunch radishes, sliced 3 tbs butter
1 small shallot, sliced big pinch kosher salt
1 clove garlic, minced a couple twists ground pepper
1/2 lemon juice 1/4 cup toasted, sliced almonds

Step Action
1 In saute pan and olive oil over medium high heat, sear broccoli and radishes for 2-3 minutes
2 Once broccoli starts to take on a little color, add in shallots, garlic and butter, cook 1-2 minutes more
3 Evac to bowl. Toss with lemon juice, salt, pepper
4 Plate, topping with toasted almonds
