Midwestern Lasagna

I’m sure no self respecting Italian would eat this, nor anyone concerned with nutrition.

Their loss.


  • Dahlia Avenue or Brooklyn style sauce
  • 6x ricotta
  • 2 eggs lightly beaten
  • 2 tbs parsley minced fine
  • grated parm
  • shredded mozzarella
  • lasagna noodles (made according to package directions)


  1. Preheat oven to 375
  2. Mix ricotta, eggs, parsley together
  3. Make the lasagna noodles according to the package directions (or use no boil ones)
  4. Get a rectangular casserole dish that fits noodles well
  5. Put thin layer of  sauce on the bottom
  6. Noodles on top
  7. Ricotta next
  8. Then some more sauce
  9. Then sprinkle on parm
  10. Then mozzarella
  11. Then cover with noodles
  12. Repeat 6-10 till at top of casserole
  13. Bake covered 50 minutes
  14. Uncover, add cheese to the top if you want
  15. Bake 10 more minutes
  16. Let rest 15 minutes

There could be anything under that bubbly delicious layer of cheese!!!
