Steak Diane

Sometimes a steak needs a sauce.  This is one of those times


Ingredients

  • 2 beef filets
  • 1 tbs olive oil
  • 2 tbs butter
  • 1 tbs minced shallot
  • 1 tsp dijon
  • 1 tsp worcestershire
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • juice of 1/2 lemon
  • chives

Directions

  1. Flatten steaks to 1 inch.  Salt + Pepper
  2. Cook steaks to done (3 mins a side) in 1tbs butter + evoo
  3. Wipe pan clean
  4. 1 tbs butter, cook shallots
  5. Add mustard, worester, cream, pan juices
  6. Add lemon and salt
  7. Serve sauce over steaks with chives on top
