A great snack, easy to make and super tasty.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups – 4 oz of extra sharp cheddar
- 4 tbs butter
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper flakes
- 1 tbs half and half
Directions
- food processor – cheese, butter, flour, salt, flakes – 5x 5 sec pulses to coarse crumbs
add half and half process till dough ~10 secs - on floured surface using floured roling pin, roll into rectangle 8×10 1/8 inch thick
- cut into long strips 1/4inch wide
- transfer strips to sheet pan, 1/4 inch appart
- bake middle rack 12-15 mins, ends barely browne
- cool and serve
