A great snack, easy to make and super tasty.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups – 4 oz of extra sharp cheddar
  • 4 tbs butter
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper flakes
  • 1 tbs half and half

Directions

  • food processor – cheese, butter, flour, salt, flakes – 5x 5 sec pulses to coarse crumbs
    add half and half process till dough ~10 secs
  • on floured surface using floured roling pin, roll into rectangle 8×10 1/8 inch thick
  • cut into long strips 1/4inch wide
  • transfer strips to sheet pan, 1/4 inch appart
  • bake middle rack 12-15 mins, ends barely browne
  • cool and serve
