Smoked Trout Dip

Savory smoky goodness, with a touch of lemon.

This dip is perfection on a cracker. Spread liberally and enjoy thoroughly.


Mise en Place
PRODUCE DAIRY
3 tbs chives, minced 8 oz cream cheese, room temp
3 tbs dill, minced 7 oz creme fraiche, room temp
2 tbs lemon juice STAPLES
1 lemon, zested 1/4 cup mayo
PROTEIN 3/4 tsp table salt
8 oz smoked trout, skin removed 1/2 tsp ground white pepper

Equipment
1 mixer, hand or stand
2 bowls

Directions
Step Action
1 In a bowl, mix cream cheese, creme fraiche, mayo, lemon juice, salt, pepper together.
2 Taste and adjust salt.
3 In a different bowl, flake trout using a fork
4 Fold trout, dill, chives into cream cheese mixture
5 Enjoy on crackers
