If your going to have steak, you need a side
Ingredients
- 1 big box of baby spinach
- 1/4 lb bacon cut into batons
- 1 small shallot
- 1 tbs shallot
- 1 cup half and half
- 2 tbs flour
- 2 tbs butter
- nutmeg
Directions
- In a saucepan, make a light roux (2 tbs each flour & butter), take off heat whisk in cream, put back on low, microplane in some nutmeg
- Cook bacon, set aside
- Sweat shallot in 1 tbs butter
- Wilt spinach
- Add bacon
- Add cream till it seems right
- Serve
