Dressing & Marinade
Ingredients
- Juice and zest of three limes
- 4 tbs soy
- 3 tbs fish sauce
- 1 tsp minced ginger
- 1 serrano pepper slice wafer thin
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp red pepper flake
Directions
- combine
- reserve some for dressing
- use the rest to marinade steak
Steak Salad
Ingredients
- Skirt or Flank steak
- 4 parts Romaine
- 1 part Mint
- 1 part Cilantro
- Tomato
- Scallions
- Seeded Cucmber
- Chopped toasted peanuts
Directions
- Marinade steak for at least an hour
- Sear it off, leave it whole, chill (or not)
- Combine salad in proportions you like – mine are above
- Put salad in freezer for 10 minutes (make it cold)
- Slice steak
- Toss salad with dressing
- Top with steak
- Serve
